Dear Parents, It is hard to believe that we are already coming up on our first holiday weekend. As we finish the first four weeks of school, I am happy to report that our incredible kids, staff and parents are working together and great things are happening. | CAR SAFETY Accordng to Arizona State Law a person shall not operate a motor vehicle on the highways in this state when transporting a child who is under five years ofunless that child is properly secured in a child passenger restraint system. SAFETY TIPS The safest place for children 12 years and under is in the back seat. Every child should be buckled into a child safety seat, a booster seat or with a fitted lay and shoulder belt. It is best to keep children in the forward facing seat, placed in the rear seat of the car, for as long as they will fit comfortably. |

| RIDGEWALKERS CLUB All fifth grade students interested in joining the RIDGEWALKERS CLUB must attend all three tryouts. Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 12 and 19th from 2:45 to 3:45. Tryout forms are available in the office and are due by September 4th. |
