The
Desert Vista PTO is a group of Volunteer Parents and Teachers
who meet on a regular basis to discuss the many different aspects
of the school. Throughout the year, the PTA organizes many different
events that include activities for the students and parents. Many
events are fundraisers for the school i.e. the School Picnic and
Carnival, Secret Santa Shop. These funds help the school send
students on field trips, purchase school items such as benches,
shelter, library books, storage units and much much more!
WITHOUT
THE PTO, the school may be unable to have such things!
All
parents, staff and teachers are encouraged to join the PTA - even
if it is only for a short time. Your help, helps the school! And
what better way to show your appreciation for all that the school
does for your child than to volunteer a few hours a year! It is
also vital that the school hears your input!
