Dear Desert Vista Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I hope you’ve enjoyed a restful and fun-filled summer. It is with great excitement that I welcome all our new and returning Mustangs as we begin our leadership-focused journey together.  Our office staff will be back on Monday, July 7, to start returning phone calls and processing registrations.

Our dedicated staff has been hard at work preparing for a year full of engaging opportunities and meaningful growth. At Desert Vista, we are proud to provide a safe, nurturing, and academically-focused environment. This year, we are thrilled to offer GenTech, our STEM program, to all students. Additionally, our fifth-grade students will have the opportunity to participate in band or orchestra.

We invite you to join us for Meet the Teacher Night on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet teachers, drop off school supplies, and get acquainted with the campus before the first day of school.

During the event, you'll also find:
● Class Assignments & Registration: Confirm your child’s teacher and turn in any necessary paperwork.
● PTO Table: Learn how to join our PTO and purchase a Mustang T-shirt
● Community Organizations: Explore local resources and services.
● Transportation & Food Services: Pick up bus route details and complete Free/Reduced Lunch applications (must be submitted annually). Even if you don't think you qualify, submitting an application helps support our Title I programs.

The first day of school is Wednesday, July 16th.
● Start time: 8:35 AM (gates open at 8:15 AM)
● Dismissal: 3:35 PM
