All students should have brought home the Title I Compact, Acceptable Use Policy, and Code of Conduct Acknowledgment.
If you haven’t already, please return these signed forms as soon as possible.
🧼 Classroom Supplies – Disinfecting Wipes
As we continue working toward cleaner, safer environments across the district, we are following updated EPA guidelines for disinfecting products.
We welcome donations of disinfecting wipes, but please ensure they are clearly labeled “bleach-free.”

🏀 Sports Are Starting Soon!
We’re excited to offer Basketball and Cheer for all grade levels during first quarter.

Students in grades 3–5 will have the opportunity to participate in a few evening games.
- We are still in need of volunteer coaches who can commit to about 1 hour per week for 6 weeks. All coaches must have a Fingerprint Clearance Card on file.
- If you're interested in helping out, please contact Mrs. Fant.
Looking ahead, other sports this year will include Volleyball, Flag Football, and Soccer.
📚 Bingo for Books – July 31
Join us for our first school-wide community event of the year: Wednesday, July 31 | 🕠5:30–7:00 PM | 📍 DVES Cafeteria
Families are invited to play Bingo for a chance to win books to take home! It’s a fun and free event for all DVES families—hope to see you there! (See attached flyer).
🤝 PTO & Site Council – First Meetings
We are looking for families who want to be more involved in our school community!
Join us for our first meetings of the year on Tuesday, August 19:
- PTO Meeting – 4:00 PM
- Site Council Meeting – 5:30 PM
Both meetings will be held on campus. Come learn more about how you can support our students and school goals!
