📸 Picture Day – Monday, August 11
Get those smiles ready! Individual picture day will take place on Monday, August 11. All students will have their photos taken, even if not ordering, for yearbook and ID purposes.

⏰ Early Release – Wednesday at 1:35 PM
This Wednesday is our first early release day of the year.

Dismissal is at 1:35 PM.
- Please ensure students are wearing appropriate PE shoes, as they will have physical education that day.
🗳️ Voting on Campus – Tuesday
Desert Vista will be a polling location on Tuesday.
- Voters will enter through the orchestra room, and will have no access to the main campus.
- All other campus entrances will remain locked and blocked for student safety.
- Please see the attached map for updated parking and pick-up instructions for that day. Thank you for your flexibility!
💧Extreme Heat Reminder – Send Water Bottles
With the continued high temperatures, please make sure your child brings a refillable water bottle each day. We have water bottle filling stations located throughout campus to help students stay hydrated.
📁 Leadership Binders
As a leadership-focused school, students are encouraged to track their goals, academic progress, and leadership activities throughout the year.
Please help your child bring in a 1-inch binder with divider tabs as soon as possible to set up their Leadership Notebook.

🧼 Reminder: Bleach-Free Disinfecting Wipes Only
We appreciate your donations of disinfecting wipes! As part of our move toward cleaner, safer classrooms, we ask that all disinfecting wipes sent to school are clearly labeled “bleach-free.” Please see the attached memo for more information.
