We are excited to welcome Ms. Furey, our new 3rd grade teacher, to Desert Vista. She brings over 11 years of teaching experience and has been working hard this weekend to set up a welcoming, engaging classroom for her students.

💧 Extreme Heat Reminder – Send Water Bottles
With the continued high temperatures, please make sure your child brings a refillable water bottle each day.
We have water bottle filling stations located throughout campus to help students stay hydrated.
📁 Leadership Binders
As a leadership-focused school, students are encouraged to track their goals, academic progress, and leadership activities throughout the year.
Please help your child bring in a 1-inch binder with divider tabs as soon as possible to set up their Leadership Notebook.
📵 House Bill 2484 – Student Wireless Devices
A reminder that House Bill 2484 was recently passed and limits student access to wireless technology during the school day, including cell phones and other communication devices like smartwatches.

🤝 Get Involved: PTO & Site Council Meetings
We invite all families to join us for our first PTO and Site Council meetings of the year on Tuesday, August 19:
