We have a very busy month ahead as we continue with state testing. Please make sure students are well rested, arrive on time, and are ready to do their best each day.

📸 Student Pictures:
Kindergarten promotion and 5th grade completion pictures will take place on April 9th. All kindergarten and 5th grade students will be photographed. (See attached flyer).
🏐 Athletics Update:
Volleyball practice begins Thursday and will run for six weeks. Games are tentatively scheduled to begin the week of May 11th. More details will be shared soon.
📚 Battle of the Books Results
We are proud to celebrate our students who participated in this year’s Battle of the Books! Their hard work, teamwork, and love of reading were on full display during the competition, and we are excited to share that our first place team will go on to represent Desert Vista at the public library on Thursday, April 23rd at 6:00 p.m.

🥉 3rd Place: The Girly Pops - Laila, Alena, and Ariah
4th Place: Mustangs - Lucee, Felix, and Ruger

🤝 Student Support & Partnerships:
We are excited to partner with ASU and ADE to bring Blueprint Tutors to our campus! These tutors will be working with our 3rd through 5th grade students in math to provide additional support and strengthen learning.
We’re also proud to share that ABC15 visited our campus last week, and our program was featured on the news!
🌳 Campus Event:
We are excited to partner with the City of Apache Junction to plant a tree on campus on April 17th!
📋 Registration & ParentVUE Updates
Kindergarten registration and annual information updates for all current students are in full swing. Please log in to your ParentVUE account and ensure all information is current, including addresses, phone numbers, and emergency contacts.
This year, the district is requiring an updated proof of residence for all students. You may bring this documentation to the school office at any time. Should you need any assistance with any part of registration, please contact the front office.
Students will not be assigned a teacher for the upcoming school year until registration is complete and proof of residence has been submitted.
